Here’s the latest in our “Where are you now”? section!

Mrs. Heather Pecoraro is a Maryland native who grew up in Edgemere in Baltimore County. She currently still resides in Edgemere and is a parishioner at St. Luke’s Catholic Church. She attended St. Luke’s School from prekindergarten until the sixth grade. In seventh grade she attended the new Our Lady of Hope/St. Luke School. For high school she attended the Catholic High School of Baltimore where she graduated in1995. She then graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. After graduating college, Mrs. Pecoraro decided to enroll in a flight school in Florida that was owned and operated by Delta airlines, to pursue a career as an airline pilot. She graduated flight school and continued her career as a flight instructor for Delta Connection Academy. Mrs. Pecoraro took her first airline job with Midwest Airlines in Milwaukee, WI flying a Beech-1900. She then moved on to fly a Canadain Regional Jet for Comair Airlines, owned and operated by Delta Airlines in Cincinnati, OH. After many years of moving all over the country, traveling all over the world, and missing many birthdays and holidays, she moved back to Baltimore to be with her friends and family. Mrs. Pecoraro loved working with children so she decided to continue her education and attend graduate school at Loyola University Maryland where she obtained a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. She is currently a full time Speech-Language Pathologist for Baltimore City Public Schools. She currently works three days at Holabird Academy Elementary/Middle School and two days at Armistead Gardens Elementary/Middle School. She enjoys spending time outside with her three children who all attend Our Lady of Hope St. Luke School and her husband Mike Pecoraro(who she met in flight school and is also a pilot) and whenever possible renting a plane and flying just for fun!
