On May 12th, our entire school will be participating in our annual Race for Education. We wish to extend an invitation to family and friends to join us in helping to raise funds to provide our students with an education using current technology and to continue to update our facility to enhance the learning experience at our school. Each participant will raise funds by asking sponsors to contribute a tax deductible amount based on the number of laps completed (i.e., $1 per lap) or a flat donation, if they prefer.
Students may walk or jog around a ¼ mile area as many times as they are able in one hour’s time. Students and classes will also have an opportunity to compete for a number of prizes and awards based on their participation in the Race for Education.
Please join us in this very special event. We look forward to seeing you on May 12th.
Our annual Field Day will be held on Tuesday May 2nd. The students will be participating in various games throughout the day. We are in need of volunteers to make this day a success. Parents, Grandparents, Aunts or Uncles are welcomed. You will be able to spend the day with your child’s homeroom. Remember you must be STAND trained in order to volunteer. Please report to Mr. T in the cafeteria by 8:15am on Tuesday morning if you are able to help with your student’s homeroom.
