Spelling 5-1: Complete all of Unit 1, pages
18-23. Due on Thursday. Final test on Thursday.
Spelling 5-2: Complete all of Unit 1, pages 18-23.
Due on Friday. Final test on Friday.
Reading: Discussion of Leigh Botts story on Thursday.
Test on Friday. Study story vocabulary.
English 5-1: Workbook p.3. Complete Parts A and B.

Some Important Notes:
1. Students should have all textbooks and workbooks covered as soon
as possible. Paper bookcovers are available in my classroom.
2. Students may bring a water bottle to school until further notice.
5. Bookworms is underway for students in grades 4 and 5. Students
have been given a reading calendar for September to keep track of their
independent reading habits. They should record the number of minutes
they read daily on this calendar. The weekly goal is two hours. Students
may include the time spent reading the selections in their reader in this
count. Please place the calendar in a prominent place as a reminder.
