Chromebook  & IPAD Programs

After receiving a grant from the Knott Foundation, we initiated a chrome book program in the Middle School.  Our program was so successful that it has been expanded to included students in grades 4 and 5.  It is a 1:1 program used primarily in class.  Students use their assigned chrome book in their classes to take notes, make flashcards, participate in class discussions, manage their agenda, create presentations, and many other exciting uses.  In addition to the 1:1 middle school program, students in grades K-3 have access to 25 IPADS.  In the last few years with our new infrastructure, the technology program insures that our graduates are technically proficient and well-prepared for high school and beyond.

Exploratory in Middle School

The Middle School students are actively involved and engaged once a week in an elective type course called Exploratory.  Exploratories provide students with the opportunity to explore educational experiences that are not part of the curriculum; its purpose is to enrich their lives.  Students are eligible to pick a different class each trimester based on their personal interests.  Topics vary and change every trimester throughout the year.  Examples of Exploratories include Yoga and Meditation Hour, Rocketry, Drama, Art, Ballet/Dance, Coding, Pickle Ball, Line Dancing, and more.
